Autumn Term Craft Club
This half term at craft club we are focusing on Christmas themed craft activities. This includes making reindeer hot chocolate, a Christmas tree decoration using a pinecone, reindeer food and a Christmas card. We will be busy elves in the run up to Christmas and I'm looking forward to your creativity.
Keep checking back for photos of the activities we've got up too.
Week 1: Children In Need -Pudsey Bear Headband
On our first week we made Pudsey bear ear headbands for Children In Need, we used different materials to make our spotty designs. We used paint dabbers and glitter, they was very sparkly.
Week 2: Pinecone Decoration.
This week we decorated a pinecone, we used pompoms and weaved ribbon through the pinecone. We drizzled glue over them before carefully sprinkling glitter over the pinecone. We was very proud of them and excited to hang them on our Christmas tree at home.
Week 3: Reindeer Hot Chocolate.
This week we made a reindeer hot chocolate cone, we carefully worked together to fill the cones with hot chocolate and marshmallows. We then tied the cone and decorated it to make it look like a reindeer. Using the glue we placed some googly eyes and a red nose on. We then added a label to tell our grown ups what we needed to do to make our hot chocolate. The children told Miss Newton they really enjoyed there hot chocolate at home!!
