Spring 2 - Billy Goats Gruff
So far this half term, we have been reading The Three Billy Goat's Gruff. We have thought about how the goats go across the river using the bridge and have had a go at building a bridge using the Duplo blocks.
We have also been remembering the number 5 and have used the paints to copy the numeral.
On the second week of reading our text, we thought about the setting of The Three Billy Goats Gruff and wrote a list of the things we could see in the setting like a bridge, grass and river. Look at our amazing mark marking and writing!
We celebrated pancake day too and tasted some yummy pancakes as well as decorating some pancakes using our cutting and sticking skills.
We looked at the number 6 and read the story of 6 Dinner Sid
We enjoyed Aspirations Week this week - celebrating one of our core school values of 'Aspire'. We looked at different jobs that people had and thought about what job we would like to do when we grow up
