Well-being

Well-being at Priestsic

At Priestsic Primary School we aim to care for and develop the whole child educationally, emotionally, morally and physically. As we care for their education we also care for their mental health and well-being. We want to ensure that each child has the essential toolkit with information to enable them to make well informed decisions about their diet and health. It is important for each child to be well in body and mind for them to fully access their learning. That is why at Priestsic we ensure that well-being is one of our curriculum drivers and ensure we put actions in place to support our children's mental health and wellbeing.

At Priestsic Primary school, we understand that during this time more than ever we need to be looking after our children's well-being. The links below will support you and your child through any concerns they may have.

Welcome Back!

It has been wonderful having our doors open and having all of the children back in school. There have been many changes to our routines and daily activities; the children have been amazing at ensuring they participate to these. For all of us, the return to school has been exciting as well as worrying, which is only understandable during our current circumstances. Being back to school will help improve the children's wellbeing and mental health, however this will not happen overnight. Some children may be feeling anxiety at the thought of being back and may take time to adjust back into routine.

Here are some support links to help you and your child to cope with coming back.
