Autumn 1 - The Gingerbread Man
This half term, we welcomed back children to nursery and said hello to our new starting children too. Everyone settled in well and enjoyed exploring out inside and outside provision as well as getting to know everyone.
While reading our Gingerbread Man text, we acted out the story as a class, retold the story with puppets and used to tuff tray to play with the characters too. We made and decorated gingerbread man biscuits and enjoyed eating them too - just like the fox did in our story! In the transient art, we decorated gingerbread outlines with lots of different materials remembering to add eyes, a nose, a mouth and buttons too!
