Spring 2 -Journey Home
We have been reading 'The Journey Home From Grandpa's' and 'The Train Ride'.
We painted the train outlines at the easel, used duplo to make transport and train stations, completed transport jigsaw puzzles and played with a train set small world play on the tuff tray acting out the story together.
In Maths, we remembered the words big and small. We have looked at longer and shorter and we have looked at taller and shorter. We used the dough in the dough area to make long and short sausages. At the Maths table we sorted animals into big and small.
We continued to build on our gross motor skills, fine motor skills, teamwork and sharing when playing outside with lots of fun continuous provision to play with.
We made our Mother's Day cards by painting daffodils from observation.
