World Music Day!
What is World Music Day?
In Foundation 1 (Nursery), we listened to various genres of music such as Finnish, Reggae, Hungarian, Italian, Mongolian and Irish folk music while learning around our classroom. We made a trumpet out of playdough during dough disco. We got twisting with a Bangura dance video session and sang our favourite songs and nursery rhymes. Our favourite was 'Head, shoulders, knees and toes'!
In Foundation 2, we listened to music and had a go at accompanying the music by playing some instruments. We discussed how the music made us feel, what it made us think about, which were our favourites and why we didn't like any.
