Summer 2 - We all went on Safari
We have been reading 'We All Went on Safari' and we talked about different environment features seen on the journey. We found out about some animals that live in Africa too and really enjoyed watching the African animal live stream videos on the screen to see the animals in the wild and at the watering holes.
We drew a lion face and used our cutting skills to create the lion’s mane. We also used our collaging skills to create pictures of an African animal and ensured we were selecting the correct colours.
In Maths, we have been continuing to work on the composition of 5 - Five can be made up of 5 and 0, 4 and 1 or 3 and 2. We remembered our learning about patterns too and made some patterns on the peg boards in our play.
We enjoyed playing and exploring outside too and enjoyed finding snails in the garden and keeping cool in the shade with the water tray in the heatwave!
